the basics of how world war 2 started is this: Germany secretly started building up arms in the 1930's. Whent Hitler thought they were ready they invaded Austria, then Czech Republic, then Poland. When Germany invaded Poland.At that time (Sept. 1939) Britian and France declared war on Germany and their allies (Japan, Italy).
