World War II Forum: Marchington Camp, UK

Posted by: Nick (nwilliamson@ThisIsToPreventSpam-429-RemoveThis.hotmail.com) on 31 Aug 2003 at 7:51:29 AM

Hello from the UK, I am trying to find if there is anyone out there who served at Marchington Camp, East Staffordshire, Midlands, England during WW2 or after. The little information I have says that when a nearby RAF ammunition storage depot exploded (RAF Fauld) US Army Engineers and Medics went to help, this was in WW2 sometime. Great to hear from anyone who served there, or has any information about the place.

Thanks,

Nick

If the person posting this message left their e-mail address, we inserted some random characters to prevent spammers from harvesting their address. Spammers do this with automated "bots" that constantly search the Web looking for e-mail addresses. Since you're a human being, not a bot, you can easily obtain the real address by removing the text that says "ThisisToPreventSpam-XYZ-RemoveThis." including the random number XYZ and the period at the end. For example, <whitten@ThisIsToPreventSpam-123-RemoveThis.despammed.com> would become <chris-(@)-interesting.com>.
