My Father Wayne R. Dillon served in WW2. He was first at Fort Snelling, MN.Left overseas June 29th. Middle July was in France 134th Infantry serving General Pattons Third Army. Was in several battles at the front in St. Lo. Was missing in action in Germany since Sept. 28th was informed he was POW Oct. 23rd. Was at Stalag 2B Hammerstein. Dont know much about his time served as he never liked to discuss it. Anyone by chance happen to remember him or have pictures please contact me. Also would like to know of other web sites related to this.
Thanks,
Deb
My father passed away April 1990.

If the person posting this message left their e-mail address, we inserted some random characters to prevent spammers from harvesting their address. Spammers do this with automated "bots" that constantly search the Web looking for e-mail addresses. Since you're a human being, not a bot, you can easily obtain the real address by removing the text that says "ThisisToPreventSpam-XYZ-RemoveThis." including the random number XYZ and the period at the end. For example, <whitten@ThisIsToPreventSpam-123-RemoveThis.despammed.com> would become <chris-(@)-interesting.com>.
