I tried the NetMagazines "5 magazines for $30" deal last year, and it's for real. I did it for American Heritage, which costs $20 by itself.
Books on Tape has over 120 (!) WWII history audio books.

World War II in Canada
On September 10, 1939,
Canada declared war on Germany, shortly after the Germans invaded Poland and Britain, France, Australia, and New Zealand declared war.
Within a few months -- on December 18, 1939 -- the first Canadian troops arrived in Britain. By the end of the war over 40,000 Canadian fighting men would be killed.
